Effective: July 25, 2026
The short version: We do not sell your personal information. The free readiness checkup does not submit or save your answers. Optional analytics is off unless you choose to allow it.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how DwellCue ("DwellCue," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you visit dwellcue.com and use the public website, readiness checkup, articles, and product previews (collectively, the "Site").
DwellCue accounts, paid workspaces, orders, and payment processing are not currently available. Before those features launch, we will update this policy to describe any additional information they require.
2. Information we collect
Information that stays on your device
Your readiness-checkup answers and result are processed in your browser. They are not sent to DwellCue, stored in a DwellCue database, or included in analytics events. The result disappears when the page state is cleared or refreshed unless you choose to print or save it using your own device.
Information collected automatically to operate the Site
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the Site. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, requested page, request time, and diagnostic or security information.
Optional analytics information
If you select Allow analytics, Google Analytics may collect a first-party identifier, browser and device information, approximate location, referring information, pages viewed, and interactions such as plan views, resource views, button clicks, and whether the readiness checkup was started or completed. DwellCue does not send your checkup answers, names, passwords, account numbers, or household-record contents to Google Analytics.
Advertising storage, ad personalization, and Google signals are disabled in our analytics configuration. Your analytics choice is stored locally in your browser so the Site can remember it.
Information you choose to send us
If you email us, we receive the information in your message, such as your name, email address, and the content of your request. Please do not email passwords, full account numbers, identity documents, private records, or other sensitive household details.
3. How we use information
We use personal information only as reasonably necessary to:
- deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the Site;
- remember and honor your analytics preference;
- measure Site usage and improve content when analytics is allowed;
- respond to questions, requests, or feedback you send us;
- prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents; and
- comply with law and protect our rights and users.
5. Your choices and privacy rights
Analytics choices
You may allow or decline analytics when the choice panel appears. You can change that decision at any time by selecting Analytics choices at the bottom of the Site. Declining removes DwellCue's Google Analytics cookies where the browser permits and stops future analytics collection on that browser.
Browser controls
You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking required browser storage may affect the Site's ability to remember your preference, but the public content and readiness checkup do not require analytics.
Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; obtain a portable copy; restrict or object to certain processing; or appeal a decision about a request. You may also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
To make a request, email privacy@dwellcue.com. Describe the request and the state or country where you live. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. You may appeal a decision by replying to our response and writing "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line.
6. Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Analytics information is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. Messages are retained as needed to respond and maintain appropriate business records. Your analytics choice remains in your browser until you change it or clear browser storage.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults organizing household responsibilities and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as DwellCue changes or legal requirements evolve. The effective date above will show when the policy was last revised. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice when required.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to privacy@dwellcue.com.
